The San Francisco 49ers have started the 2023 season in familiar territory.
At 5-0, the 49ers are tied with the Philadelphia Eagles atop the NFC, hoping to make another deep postseason run this year.
This success has come despite some questions about Brock Purdy and what his arm would be like, he has seemingly proved his doubters wrong.
Deebo Samuel recently appeared on “Up and Adams,” discussing the team’s belief in Purdy.

Purdy continues to help propel his team to victory, which seems, in part, due to the relationship he has with his teammates.
Samuel isn’t the only 49er to talk about Purdy’s brilliance, as he consistently receives high praise from the 49ers building.
Purdy is currently eighth in the NFL in passing yards, just behind Patrick Mahomes.
He is also tied for fourth in touchdown passes and has yet to throw an interception.
All of these factors seem to align with what Purdy’s teammates are saying about him.
Not only is he winning over the locker room, but his on-field performances are among the best in the league.
As Mr. Irrelevant from the 2022 NFL Draft, Purdy was never expected to see the field.

He has defied all odds to this point in his young career and doesn’t appear to be slowing down anytime soon.
