It’s been a tough couple of months for former NFL star DeAndre Hopkins.
As it usually happens in this business, some people tried to kick him while he was down, sharing some reports about his alleged disinterest in being held accountable or coached, and some going as far as to say that he didn’t like to practice.
That’s why he wasted no time mocking those who questioned his work ethic, taking to Twitter to react to a clip of himself making a highlight-reel-worthy grab in his first practice with the Tennessee Titans.
I was told he doesn’t practice… https://t.co/PhvKxr2pZr

Once considered one of the best wide receivers in the game, Hopkins had a tough time finding a new team, up to the point where his team had to release him because no trade materialized.
Some league executives and scouts reportedly believe he’s lost a step and is unable to gain separation anymore.
Other teams were only interested in signing him at a major discount, as he reportedly wanted to sign another lucrative deal before walking away from the league.
It’ll be tough to make a statement in Mike Vrabel’s run-heavy offense, especially considering the fact that the Titans will be a bit of a question mark next season.
But Hopkins has one of the most reliable pair of hands in the league, and it looks like he’s going to have a huge chip on his shoulder from day one to prove he’s far from done, so don’t be shocked if he posts All-Pro-caliber numbers again in the Music City.
