David Ortiz is officially a Hall-of-Famer.
The Boston Red Sox legendary slugger was elected to the Baseball Hall of Fame back in late January.
He has three World Series rings, 10 All-Star appearances, seven Silver Slugger Awards, an ALCS MVP Award, and a World Series MVP Award to his name.
Yesterday, he was officially enshrined in Cooperstown.
Ortiz has certainly earned his place among the greats in baseball history, but with his induction to the Hall of Fame, he joined an exclusive group of players to be enshrined in Cooperstown.
Along with Pedro Martinez, Juan Marichal, and Vladimir Guerrero Sr., Big Papi is the fourth Dominican born player to reach the Hall of Fame.
MLB celebrated his accomplishment on Twitter with a graphic featuring all four greats.

Papi Joins A List Of Greats
This is great company to be in.
Ortiz is a guy that came off the scrap heap when the Red Sox first took a chance on him.
He had been let go by the Minnesota Twins and it wasn’t until Martinez vouched for him that he got a chance in Boston.
He quickly turned himself into a star once he arrived in Beantown.
He endeared himself to the fans immediately and helped bring home three World Series titles.
Ortiz came out of nowhere to become a superstar and the fans in Boston will always appreciate him for that, and how he helped break the curse for the Red Sox.
He is also the third former Red Sox player to be on that list of Dominican greats.
All of these players were superstars during their heyday and earned their spots in Cooperstown with legendary careers.
Ortiz is just the latest to earn such a well-deserved honor.
