The 2024 NFL season has officially begun, and Week 2 of the action is about to commence.
Week 1 already provided fans with lots of excitement and drama, giving them hope that the 2024 campaign will be exceptional.
One of the best individual performances from the weekend came from Lamar Jackson, who played extraordinarily against the Kansas City Chiefs in the season opener.
Even though the Baltimore Ravens ended up losing the game, Jackson’s performance was a sign that he’s ready to fight for revenge after falling in the AFC Championship last season.
He continues to wow fans across the league, and also has gained tremendous respect from his peers.
Davante Adams recently talked about Jackson’s impact in an interview, where he highlighted what Jackson has meant to him and the rest of the league.
“I found myself watching Lamar Jackson highlights at my locker before the game. Dude changed the game… In my opinion, he’s the best ball carrier ever,” Adams said.

Adams indicated that he has not only watched Jackson’s highlights before games but that he’s the best ball carrier in NFL history.
Jackson is one of the most prolific rushing quarterbacks to enter the league in quite some time.
If he keeps this pace up, he will easily surpass Cam Newton’s rushing records, and with his arm only continuing to grow, there’s reason to believe his ceiling could be even higher.
Of course, Newton brought the Carolina Panthers a Super Bowl victory, something Jackson hasn’t been able to do in Baltimore.
