There is a little war of words brewing between the head coaches of the Los Angeles Lakers and Golden State Warriors.
Just a few days ago, Warriors coach Steve Kerr told the press: “I give the Lakers credit for the plays they’ve been able to sell.”
He was suggesting that LA players were being over-the-top with any contact they received in order to reach the free-throw line.
Following Wednesday night’s Game 5, Lakers coach Darvin Ham responded to the idea that his team is working hard to flop and earn fouls.
According to Jovan Buha, he told the media: “I just control what I can control, which is coaching my team. I don’t go down the rabbit hole of blaming officials.”

The foul situation between these two teams has been getting tense throughout the series.
Kerr has suggested that the refs have missed crucial calls and have fallen for the Lakers’ attempts at getting fouls.
Fans of the Warriors have also been outraged repeatedly by what they consider bad officiating.
This is something that comes up again and again throughout every season and is honestly something that will never go away.
As long as we have referees, we will have people disagreeing with them and accusing the other team of playing up fouls.
Both the Warriors and Lakers had 15 free-throw attempts on Wednesday night.
It seems that the referees weren’t favoring one team over another.
Yet it looks like the arguments over fouls and flopping will continue as this series moves back to Los Angeles for Game 6.
