Former New York Giants starting quarterback Daniel Jones is searching for a new team to join before the postseason after Big Blue decided to cut him last week.
According to insider Josina Anderson, Jones is close to making his decision.
“A high-ranking league official told me they have the impression QB Daniel Jones has zeroed on a ‘leading’ choice. While another high-ranking league source told me their understanding is Jones ‘is telling teams tomorrow,” Anderson posted to social media Tuesday.

Anderson also noted that the Las Vegas Raiders have some interest in Jones due to Gardner Minshew’s injury.
Jones may want to join a contending team, as he spent the first part of his career on a team that made the playoffs just once.
Unless there is an injury to any starting quarterback on a playoff-caliber team, Jones likely won’t get much playing time.
But a team such as the Baltimore Ravens could make sense.
The offense that John Harbaugh runs demands mobility from the quarterback, which is why MVP quarterback Lamar Jackson has been so great in his role.
Jones could give the team a steady backup signal-caller for the stretch run.
The Minnesota Vikings could also be a team that might be interested.
With rookie quarterback J.J. McCarthy out all season long and starter Sam Darnold playing through a foot injury vs. the Chicago Bears last week, perhaps Jones could provide the team with a player who has more starting experience than Nick Mullens or Brett Rypien.
