The Los Angeles Lakers may have advanced to the Western Conference Finals last season, but the roster suffered from a lack of chemistry during the playoffs.
Considering the team made several trades during the second half of the season, the Lakers were given an excuse.
The Purple and Gold made a couple of more additions to the team over the offseason, and fans are impressed with them so far.
Following the sensational 129-126 win over the Brooklyn Nets during the preseason, the new-look Lakers showcased brilliant chemistry on the court.
Speaking of which, D’Angelo Russell shared one key factor behind the team’s great chemistry, via Spectrum SportsNet on Twitter.
“We got good camaraderie, and I think that carries over to when we get out there playing with each other,” Russell said.

Ahead of the 2023-24 NBA season, GM Rob Pelinka did a great job of adding depth to the roster.
But the biggest positive about the Lakers has been the camaraderie between the players.
They are playing as a single unit instead of as individuals, and it’s making a huge difference for the team.
Following the crucial win over the Nets, the Lakers are soaring with confidence.
Moreover, the Lakers have multiple talented players who can lead the team to victory on any given night.
If the Lakers can manage to keep this chemistry alive throughout the regular season and postseason, they may finally add championship banner No. 18 for the rafters at the Crypto.com Arena.
Can the Lakers carry over their high morale when the new season begins later in October 2023?
The only way for fans to find out is to patiently wait for when the new season starts.
