The Washington Commanders have a special talent on their hands.
Jayden Daniels doesn’t look like an average rookie.
He’s already had a better season than countless veterans who’ve been in the league for years.
That’s why Dan Orlovsky believes this is the greatest rookie season for a quarterback in NFL history.
Talking on ESPN Radio’s “Unsportsmanlike,” the former quarterback raved about Daniels and how he’s been able to take the league by storm despite not taking the traditional route.

Daniels was mostly overlooked by scouts and big-name schools coming out of high school.
He wasn’t that successful at Arizona State, either.
He had to transfer to LSU to finally get some recognition.
Daniels excelled with the Tigers and had one of the best seasons in college football history.
And just when it seemed like his rise to the top would finally hit a speed bump while he made the adjustments to play in the NFL, he took things even further.
His poise, leadership, and ability to rise to the occasion when it matters most have truly set him apart from everybody else.
The Commanders may or may not win the Super Bowl this season, but they will be a problem for years to come with Daniels there.
