The Detroit Lions did everything they could to lose to the Houston Texans.
Then, they did all they needed to do to storm right back.
In the end, the better team prevailed, but what was so impressive was how they won that game.
That’s why Dan Orlovsky believes they’re poised to win a championship.
Talking on ESPN’s “Get Up,” the former Lions quarterback argued that this was the worst game they played in two years.

He also said that Jared Goff had his worst performance in the last four years or so, praising him for having short-term memory in a good way.
Goff threw five interceptions, but he was still calm and collected.
Likewise, his coaching staff continued to trust him, and they all delivered.
Good teams win when everything goes their way, but championship-caliber teams find a way to get wins when things go wrong.
As tough as the picture seemed, no one on that Lions’ team batted an eye, looked desperate, or seemed bothered when they were trailing by double digits.
Even despite the five interceptions, the Lions never truly felt out of the game, and that’s despite being on the road against another playoff-caliber foe.
The Lions are now 8-1 and look like the absolute best team in the National Football League.
Such an emotional win will help them continue building a strong culture for the remainder of the season.
