Detroit Lions quarterback Jared Goff is playing at an MVP level right now.
His top option through the air is All-Pro wide receiver Amon-Ra St. Brown.
Together, at least in analyst Dan Orlovsky’s eyes, they form the best quarterback-wide receiver duo in the league.
“Jared Goff has not thrown an incompletion to Amon-Ra St. Brown since September…This is the best (duo),” Orlovsky said Thursday morning on Get Up.

Starting with what Goff has done so far this season, he has thrown 14 touchdowns and just four interceptions.
He has not thrown an interception since September 22nd and has posted a passer rating of over 125.0 in four of the past five games.
Right now, it feels like he is the best quarterback in the league.
St. Brown might only have two 100-yard games this season for the 7-1 Lions, but he is one of the most trusted pass-catchers in the league.
He is still on pace for over 100 catches, close to 1,000 receiving yards, and over 12 touchdown receptions.
The 25-year-old is coming off a career-high season in targets (164), catches (119), receiving yards (1,515), and touchdown catches (10).
He is an ascending player who might just be getting started.
Together, this duo, among other factors, has the Lions in prime position to contend for a Super Bowl.
They are giving fans flashbacks to the days of Matthew Stafford and Calvin Johnson by demonstrating how dangerous they are at any given point.
The Houston Texans better find a way to stop this combo this weekend, or they could be on the losing side at the end of regulation.
