People immediately got very excited when Damian Lillard joined the Milwaukee Bucks.
The idea of Lillard playing alongside Giannis Antetokounmpo had fans envisioning an upcoming championship run.
Because of that excitement, there were some who quickly thought up a new nickname for the duo.
They settled on “Freak Time,” a combination of “the Greek Freak” and “Dame Time.”
Don’t expect to hear Lillard use that moniker often.
Speaking to “This League Uncut,” Lillard revealed that he’s not a fan of “Freak Time”: “I’m definitely not invested in that at all,” Lillard said, according to Bleacher Report.
Dame's not rocking with the new nickname 😂💀

For years now, Antetokounmpo has been known as “the Greek Freak” because of his unnatural ability to rule the court and, of course, his home country.
As for Lillard, he has heard chants of “Dame Time” during his impressive tenure with the Portland Trail Blazers.
You can’t blame fans for wanting to celebrate the combination of these two.
Last season, Antetokounmpo scored 31.1 points, 11.8 rebounds, and 5.7 assists per game.
And Lillard posted 32.2 points, 4.8 rebounds, and 7.3 assists.
These are two of the best players in the league and now they are going to be playing together.
They have already participated in a few preseason games together, with varying results.
Antetokounmpo and Lillard definitely seem to work well together but it’s also clear that Lillard is still adjusting to his new team.
In his second preseason game, he produced just 5 points and 4 assists during 25 minutes.
Despite that rough outing, most people still assume that the pair of Antetokounmpo and Lillard might be the greatest in the NBA and could go all the way.
Lillard might not like “Freak Time” because he is more interested in another name: NBA champions.
