Damian Lillard’s first season with the Milwaukee Bucks has been one filled with a lot of adjustments and changes,
While the team has certainly not lived up to all the expectations that people had for them, they have looked more unified and dominant lately, especially on the defensive end of the court.
Meanwhile, Lillard has been setting a great tempo for the team with offense.
As pointed out by Ballislife, Lillard has been excellent during his last three games.
He has scored 30, 32, and 31 points during those games, as well as 12, 6, and 16 assists.
Additionally, he has been hot from beyond the arc, scoring 5, 6, and 4 three-pointers during that span.

This looks a lot more like the version of Lillard that Milwaukee fans were expecting when he signed with the Bucks back in the summer.
He has been an offensive powerhouse for years and repeatedly put up huge shots during his years with the Portland Trail Blazers.
That being said, his numbers have dipped a bit during his first season with the Bucks.
Last year, he was averaging 32.2 points per game and this year it’s 24.6.
His field goal and three-point percentages have also slipped a bit, but that isn’t too surprising when you consider how difficult it is to adjust to a new team.
Lillard and the Bucks are in a complicated position because when they united in the summer, it was immediately assumed that they could be Finals contenders.
They are now the second-best team in the Eastern Conference and are clearly positioned to make a strong run in the playoffs.
But if they don’t go all the way this year, will people consider the team a disappointment?
There is a lot riding on the next few weeks and that’s why Bucks fans are so happy to see Lillard lighting up at the perfect time.
