To say that Minnesota Vikings quarterback Kirk Cousins isn’t the most respected quarterback in the National Football League could be a bit of an understatement.
Most people don’t consider him to be among the league’s best quarterbacks.
That’s why former teammate Dalvin Cook took some time from his latest appearance on Good Morning Football to clear the air on Cousins.

When talking about how cool he’s been portrayed in Netflix’s quarterback series, Cook claimed that he’s actually that way.
Per Cook, people continue to underestimate him despite his production always being there, and even though he’s kind of awkward at times, he’s still a leader, and that’s just the way he gets to be cool.
Truth be told, it’s hard to find someone who actually believes Kirk Cousins could lead a team to a Super Bowl appearance.
He’s been day and night for the most part of his career, alternating great performances with head-scratching ones, and it seems like he’s never at his best in primetime or when facing good teams, let alone in the playoffs.
Of course, he’s not a poor player or the worst quarterback in the league by any means; he’s not even bad.
But he’s perhaps the player who’ll be affected the most by Cook’s departure, as the Vikings will have no featured tackle-breaking running back to take some pressure off his shoulders, and he’s not exactly the quickest decision-maker in the league, especially when we talk about obvious pass plays.
