Over the last few days, player ratings for Madden 24 have started to leak out, which always creates a debate among active players when it comes to what they’ve been rated ahead of the release of the popular video game.
Although there haven’t been a lot of disgruntled players this year when it comes to their player ratings, at least for the moment, one notable player, in particular, felt compelled to take to Twitter to show he wasn’t happy about how he was rated this year.
Dallas Cowboys star cornerback Trevon Diggs is arguably one of the best players at his position in the NFL and a valuable part of what could be the best defense in the NFL coming into the 2023 season.
However, Diggs isn’t happy that he came in at 87 overall with his Madden 24 rating, which puts him just outside of the top 10 at his position in the game.
87 Overall, Throw your whole game away I’m not fw it lol https://t.co/lE1S3DGV2r

Fortunately for Diggs, Madden player ratings can and will change over the course of the season, meaning he can get his overall number bumped up if he plays well on the field once the 2023 season gets underway in September.
Although players are more motivated by winning and contracts, Madden ratings can be an added motivator during the NFL season, which may help a player like Diggs get to where he wants to be and, as a result, be respected the way he wants to be respected.
Ahead of the 2023 campaign, Dallas is expected to be a force to be reckoned with defensively, with Micah Parsons and Diggs helping lead the way for the storied franchise on that side of the football.
