The Dallas Cowboys are peaking at the right time as they’ve squarely positioned themselves to be one of the top-contending teams in the NFC.
After a slow offensive start, Dak Prescott has looked more like his Pro Bowl self as he’s throwing the ball downfield more and connecting with players like CeeDee Lamb and Brandin Cooks.
Prescott’s average depth of target and completion rate have gone up in recent weeks, and as a result the Dallas offense is finally humming.
However, the team’s strong suit is still their defense as they’ve got one of the best units in the league.
Micah Parsons is turning in an NFL Defensive Player of the Year-caliber season, while the rest of the defense is holding their own at each level of the field.
Ahead of their Week 11 matchup against the Carolina Panthers, the Cowboys are bolstering their linebacker depth via the team’s official PR Twitter account.
The @dallascowboys signed LB Rashaan Evans to the active roster on Saturday. The club also placed DL Viliami Fehoko on Reserve/Injured.

Rashaan Evans is a former first-round pick and spent his early career with the Tennessee Titans, but now gets an opportunity to earn a regular role on the Dallas defense.
The move was also anticipated after the team announced that Leighton Vander Esch would miss the remainder of the 2023 NFL season with a neck injury.
Vander Esch has been one of the more productive linebackers in the league, so Evans will be asked to step in and try to hold down the fort.
Even without Vander Esch, the Cowboys have a formidable defense and should have no problem taking care of the Panthers.
