The Denver Broncos have a new quarterback, and if that sounds like something you’ve heard before, that’s because it is.
The organization has struggled to find a franchise-caliber gunslinger since Peyton Manning walked away from the game, and they’ve had plenty of swings and misses thus far.
Notably, they hope that Bo Nix will finally put an end to their musical chairs game, and HC Sean Peyton believes he’s the right guy for his system.
Moreover, it seems like the Oregon product has also made a strong impression on his new teammates, including his potential favorite target in Courtland Sutton.
Sutton raved about Nix’s qualities as a football player and everything he does on the field, adding that he also thinks he has a natural leadership ability (Via Zac Stevens).
Courtland Sutton was "excited" when the Broncos drafted Bo Nix:
"Bo brings a lot of really good qualities to our team in terms of the quarterback position… He does a lot of things really, really well on the field…He has that leader mentality, that aura that he walks with.”

Those statements come as a breath of fresh air for the Broncos and their fans, as there has been plenty of uncertainty regarding Sutton and his status with the team.
He skipped all the voluntary workouts as he tried to put pressure on the team to get him a contract extension, although he recently confirmed that he would be attending mandatory training camp.
Sutton has been the best pass-catcher on the team since he entered the league, and he’ll be even more important now that Jerry Jeudy is no longer with the team.
As for Nix, he entered the league with plenty of doubters and skeptics, and given this team’s long history of failure with quarterbacks, he’ll have plenty of weight on his shoulders right out of the gate.
