The 2024 NFL season went a lot better for the Los Angeles Rams than many expected.
After starting with a 1-4 record, it felt like the Matthew Stafford era in LA was over, and that this team was going to spend the offseason rebuilding and looking toward their future.
However, the team turned themselves around in a big way, only losing three more games during the regular season and punching their ticket into the playoffs.
They fought hard in the divisional round against the Philadelphia Eagles but ultimately fell short of their goal of returning to the Super Bowl.
Many expected this core to stay together in 2025, but the Rams have made it clear that they’d like to move on from some of their older pieces, as Cooper Kupp is a rumored piece to be traded.
Kupp has made many comments about wanting to stick with the Rams throughout his career, and his wife wrote a heartfelt note on Instagram after hearing this news.
“Sobbing thinking that it has to end. I truly am so humbled to have been able to spend the last 9 years in this beautiful place we made our home. Anxious and excited to see where the next chapter will be played out. Thank you from the bottom of my heart to all who have made it so unbearably hard to say goodbye. I love you LA,” Kupp said.

It’s unclear where the Kupp family will end up next, but considering how well Cooper played during the 2024 season, the Rams should have a few teams looking to acquire the veteran WR, hoping he can add to their receiver room.
