The Indianapolis Colts have a lot on their plate right now.
Besides their postseason hopes hanging on a thread, they’ll also have to deal with quite a delicate and unfortunate situation.
According to a report by The New York Post (via Dov Kleiman), TE Drew Ogletree was arrested on Friday and charged with domestic battery.

Hendricks Country court records state that the 25-year-old athlete was charged with ‘domestic battery resulting in moderate bodily injury and domestic battery committed in the presence of a child less than 16 years old,’ both of which are qualified as level 6 felonies.
The Post also reports that the Youngstown State product was being held without bond.
Per the records, the Avon Police Dpt. received a report about a physical domestic altercation between an adult female and an adult male, in which the victim was allegedly ‘body slammed’ during the said argument.
It didn’t take long until police officers detained the tight end and later took the alleged victim to the hospital to have injuries checked out.
Apparently, Ogletree’s son was at home at the time of the incident, although reports aren’t clear about whether he witnessed everything that happened.
Ogletree reportedly turned himself in on Friday after having an arrest warrant issued and there have been no more details or updates regarding his situation.
The Colts took Ogletree out of Youngstown State with a sixth-round pick in the 2022 NFL Draft, but he missed his entire rookie season after suffering a torn ACL during training camp.
He had nine receptions for 147 yards and two scores this season, but it doesn’t seem likely that he’s going to play again this season at this point.
