Jonathan Taylor’s journey with the Indianapolis Colts has been a whirlwind.
He made an instant impact when he entered the league, an instant rushing threat out of the University of Wisconsin.
The Colts have recently accommodated Taylor, honoring the search for a trade request.
It was reported that several teams were interested in Taylor, but a trade package could be hard to come by.
A Miami Dolphins reporter, Barry Jackson, reported the team had put together a trade package as shared via Dov Kleiman.
However, as both indicate, an initial offer was rejected, but the two sides are still working together to negotiate a deal.

The Dolphins have been aggressive during the offseason, signing several new pieces to their roster.
Many believe they are a team to watch in the AFC, given how their roster is currently constructed.
Adding a player like Taylor can only help their efforts as they look to get back on track after falling apart in the back half of the 2022 season.
Their running back depth chart consists of Raheem Mostert, Jeff Wilson Jr., and Salvon Ahmed.
While all these athletes have performed well at times, Taylor’s track record proceeds him.
He rushed for over 1,000 yards in his first two seasons, and had it not been for injury, likely would have done so in year three.
This is an evolving story for both sides.
With less than two weeks to go until the regular season begins, teams are running out of time to add Taylor and get him integrated into their system.
