Scoring 38 points against that defense is impressive, and it’s become evident that the Colts’ offense is for real.
Through seven weeks, they’re leading the NFL in points per game, yards per play, points per drive, and fewest sacks allowed.

Head coach Shane Steichen is proving to be an offensive guru, and he’s doing so with a first-round quarterback the New York Giants gave up on.
Daniel Jones doesn’t just look like a legitimate NFL starter with Indianapolis, but he has also become an MVP candidate.
The Colts’ solid offensive line lost two key players this offseason, yet it looks like the revamped unit has been playing together for decades.
Adding tight end Tyler Warren in the 2025 NFL Draft has also worked wonders, as he’s a coverage mismatch in the open field and near the end zone.
Last but not least, they may have the most underrated superstar in football, running back Jonathan Taylor.
He’s doing things that people praise Saquon Barkley or Derrick Henry for, yet he’s rarely mentioned among the best in the game at his position.
The Colts are leading the AFC, and they should be able to keep it going in Week 8 against the Tennessee Titans.
