The NFL trade deadline has come and gone and not every team was looking to improve their roster.
The trade deadline is a good time to land some good players from teams that are looking to rebuild.
One team that should have made a move but did not is the Dallas Cowboys.
Dallas is one of the top teams in the NFC and had a couple of holes they could fill on the trade market.
The Cowboys could have added an offensive lineman, cornerback, or linebacker.
All spots that could be considered “needs.”
Instead, Jerry Jones and company stood pat and did nothing.
Colin Cowherd thinks he knows why the Cowboys did not make any moves.
He said: “Dallas overvalues their own… It’s called delusion.”

Cowherd mentions that it is Jones who is holding back the Cowboys and has been for years.
He is rarely aggressive in free agency or on the trade market.
Jones is the owner and GM of the team.
He relies solely on drafting and developing talent, unlike other top teams around the league who are willing to acquire talent in any way they can.
Dallas has enough good players to go deep in the playoffs.
But it will be interesting to see if they can get past the San Francisco 49ers, who have had their number in recent years.
The 49ers made a big trade deadline move by acquiring Chase Young.
Dallas did nothing and now hopes they have enough to get back to the Super Bowl.
