The Buffalo Bills were four points away from the Super Bowl.
Instead, they will take their playoff record vs. Patrick Mahomes and the Kansas City Chiefs to 0-4.
According to Colin Cowherd, it’s because of Sean McDermott.
Following the heartbreaking loss to the Chiefs, Cowherd took to X to claim that they had no one to blame but themselves for being hyper-conservative.
Buffalo will have nobody to blame but themselves. Hyper conservative.

Truth be told, that didn’t seem to be the case at all.
Coach McDermott chose to go for two early in the game.
He also went for it multiple times on fourth down; his team just happened to get stopped.
At the end of the day, it’s hard to point the finger after yet another heartbreaking loss.
Granted, it’s on McDermott to have his team ready and finally figure out a way to beat the Chiefs, especially after losing to them multiple times in the playoffs and beating them in the regular season.
Nonetheless, sometimes, there’s nothing anybody can do.
At this point, the Chiefs and Mahomes just feel inevitable, at least in the AFC.
Josh Allen played the best football of his career this season.
Once again, he also played very well in the season-ending loss to the Chiefs.
Unfortunately, the Bills’ defense couldn’t hold its own on the ground.
The Chiefs are now looking to win their third Super Bowl in a row.
On the other hand, the Bills might be heading towards parting ways with their head coach after winning 15 of 20 games played this season.
