The Jacksonville Jaguars got quite a favorable schedule.
Their most crucial games will be quite spaced out, and they have a prime opportunity to build on last season’s success.
As a matter of fact, Colin Cowherd actually believes that they could finish the season with the No. 1 seed in the AFC, which might seem like a bit of a hot take.
However, Cowherd explains that the schedule is so favorable for Doug Pederson’s team, pointing out that they’ll only get to face four elite quarterbacks, and all of those games will be quite spaced out.
Not Kansas City. Not Cincinnati. Not Buffalo…

The Jaguars will face Patrick Mahomes and the Kansas City Chiefs in Week 2, then Josh Allen’s Buffalo Bills in Week 5, then Joe Burrow and the Cincinnati Bengals in Week 13, and finally Lamar Jackson’s Baltimore Ravens in Week 15.
More importantly, every single one of those games will be at home, which is also a huge factor.
Cowherd believes that the Chiefs have a complicated schedule and that even though they’re still the better team, they might not finish the season with a better record.
He also pointed out some parallels between the Jaguars and Philadelphia Eagles, comparing their situation by being a surprise playoff team and then the No. 1 seed in the following campaign.
Trevor Lawrence took a big leap forward in his first season under Pederson, and he’s due for an even better campaign in 2023.
The Jaguars might not be the No.1 seed in the AFC, but they will definitely turn a lot of heads.
