The New York Yankees are coming off their first World Series appearance since 2009 after winning the American League East with a record of 94-68.
Although the Yankees had a successful season, they lost their superstar outfielder Juan Soto to free agency when he signed with the New York Mets.
Even though the Yankees missed out on bringing Soto back, they have made several key acquisitions this offseason to make up for it.
The most recent of these acquisitions includes acquiring outfielder Cody Bellinger from the Chicago Cubs via trade.
Bellinger revealed his thoughts on playing for the Yankees next season.

After a bit of an up-and-down career, Bellinger appears to have figured things out again after a productive season with the Cubs in 2024.
In 2024, Bellinger played in 130 games where he batted .266 with 18 home runs, 78 RBIs, and a .751 OPS.
Bellinger came into the league in 2017 with the Los Angeles Dodgers where he won the Rookie of the Year Award then followed that up by winning the Most Valuable Player Award in 2019.
Along with Bellinger, the Yankees also traded for relief pitcher Devin Williams from the Milwaukee Brewers while signing starting pitcher Max Fried from the Atlanta Braves via free agency.
The Yankees appear to be spending the money saved by not bringing Soto back wisely as they have acquired multiple key pieces in their attempt to win the AL Pennant in back-to-back years.
