Many of the best players in the history of the NBA have played for the Los Angeles Lakers.
That is part of the reason why they are one of the most recognizable franchises in all of sports.
Among the many great Lakers players, Kobe Bryant was the one that many kids idolized.
He was everything you wanted in a basketball player.
He was an elite scorer, great defender, hard-working, and won five NBA championships.
Many of the young players in the NBA today got to watch Bryant in the prime of his career while growing up.
But, people still try to compare Bryant to many other Laker greats.
Los Angeles Clippers guard Terance Mann heard those comparisons too many times when he was younger.
According to Tidal League, Mann talked about how Bryant and LeBron James always used to be compared to each other.
He said, “I used to get mad when people were like ‘LeBron is better…’ I used to get so mad and argue all day.”

While many people tried to compare other players to Bryant, he was truly one-of-one.
Bryant’s legacy is still left on the NBA and all of its players.
Many try to recreate the “Mamba mentality,” which was coined for the work ethic Bryant had towards basketball.
When talking about the greatest players of all time it should not be long until you mention Bryant’s name.
He will forever be remembered and celebrated as one of the best players in the history of the game.
