Bradley Beal’s second season with the Phoenix Suns didn’t end the way the team intended, and now he is headed to the Los Angeles Clippers.
It’s been a few years since Beal looked like the sort of impactful All-Star he once was, but will he turn things around with the Clippers?
According to Clippers executive Lawrence Frank, Beal could do great things with Los Angeles, partly because the “situation” is better.
“Not to take any sort of slight at Phoenix, but playing with James Harden is a whole lot different than what their situation was,” Frank said, via Legion Hoops.

During his two seasons with the Suns, Beal put up 17.6 points, 3.9 rebounds, and 4.3 assists.
Sadly, he was hurt regularly and only played in 91 games.
On top of that, the big three of him, Kevin Durant, and Devin Booker never worked like fans had hoped.
Instead of being the best trio in the West, they continually came up short and missed the playoffs entirely in 2024-25.
Frank doesn’t think that’s because of Beal, and instead believes the team didn’t work.
Now, he envisions Beal doing great things alongside James Harden and Kawhi Leonard in Los Angeles.
People will be paying close attention to Beal and the Clippers right when the season kicks off in the fall.
If the team doesn’t deliver results immediately, people will start to wonder if the Clippers will suffer the same fate as the Suns.
Of course, the Clippers were in much better position than the Suns last season, so hopefully they can just build upon that.
Can Beal become an All-Star-level player again with his new team?
The front office certainly thinks so, and they are ready to see him prove it.
