The Minnesota Vikings truly believe they can go the distance this season, and rightfully so.
Even if they haven’t fared as well over the past month or so, they’ve still managed to win all their games but two.
That’s why they know they must make every effort and do whatever is in their power to stay ready for what’s to come.
That’s also why Chris Simms believes signing Daniel Jones was “a brilliant move.”
"I think that was a brilliant move by both parts there."@CSimmsQB breaks down why Daniel Jones signing with the Minnesota Vikings was the perfect move for both sides and how he impacts Minnesota's QB room.

Talking on the Dan Le Batard Show with Stugotz, the renowned analyst pointed out that the Vikings knew they needed to do better than just having Nick Mullens as Sam Darnold’s backup.
They already saw what they had with Mullens last season when Kirk Cousins suffered a season-ending injury, and it wasn’t great.
Jones, on the other hand, gives them a proven player with playoff experience.
While his career numbers aren’t particularly great either, he’s now one of the best and most qualified backups in the league.
We’ve also seen what a QB-friendly coach like Kevin O’Connell can do.
Darnold has not had much success in his career in the past, but he looks completely rejuvenated and like an entirely different player under O’Connell’s tutelage.
The Vikings also have a much better supporting cast than he ever had with the New York Giants, not to mention a much better offensive line.
This team wants to do something special this season, and the rest of the league has already learned that investing in a good backup quarterback is crucial.
