The Baltimore Ravens added an elite offensive weapon to work alongside the reigning MVP.
Derrick Henry should do wonders for Lamar Jackson, who didn’t post the most impressive numbers in the league last season but was the most consistent player at the most crucial position and on the best team.
Nonetheless, even though he’s a two-time MVP and is coming off a trip to the AFC Championship Game, sports analyst Chris ‘Mad Dog’ Russo doesn’t have Jackson as a top-three quarterback in the AFC.
In the latest edition of ESPN’s First Take, Russo chose Patrick Mahomes, Joe Burrow, and Josh Allen as the three best quarterbacks in the conference.

When confronted about it, he stated that Allen is a better quarterback than Jackson, adding that the former has been a much better playoff performer than the latter.
Truth be told, you couldn’t go wrong either way.
Allen has struggled with inconsistency at times.
Then again, at his best, his ceiling is significantly higher than Jackson’s, and he’s been way more durable as well.
Allen has put the Buffalo Bills in a position to beat the Kansas City Chiefs in the playoffs a few times, only to lose in heartbreaking fashion.
Perhaps, the narrative around Allen would be much different if he hadn’t lost those games, but it’s not like Lamar has been to the Super Bowl either.
