The Golden State Warriors pulled out a win over the San Antonio Spurs on Monday night.
They defeated the Spurs by a clean ten points, which was very refreshing considering they had fallen to San Antonio just a few days before.
On Saturday night, the Warriors were beaten by the Spurs, 126-113.
Speaking to NBC Sports on Monday night, Chris Paul said that Saturday’s loss was “nasty” but it motivated the team to play much better in the next game.
He said that head coach Steve Kerr commanded the team to play with energy to get back on track and that is exactly what they did.
"That game Saturday night was nasty."

With Stephen Curry out because of injury, Paul started the game alongside Jonathan Kuminga, Klay Thompson, Andrew Wiggins, and Draymond Green.
He scored 19 points, 8 rebounds, and 8 assists for the night.
It’s a good thing that the Warriors earned a victory over the Spurs because losing to that team twice in a row would have been very troubling.
The Spurs are the worst team in the Western Conference and have already been eliminated from playoff contention.
If the Warriors had been beaten by them twice in a row, it would be a bad and disturbing sign.
It would have been made even worse by the fact that Golden State was demolished by the Boston Celtics a little more than a week ago.
That 140-88 loss still stings and is hanging over Golden State’s heads.
But the good news is that the Warriors did indeed bounce back and formulate a plan that led to a win.
Now they have to face the Dallas Mavericks, Los Angeles Lakers, and New York Knicks in the days ahead.
Their last few games have been a mixed bag but can the Warriors score a few more wins in the days ahead?
