After nearly a decade away, Chris Paul is returning to the Los Angeles Clippers.
Paul is about to start his first season with the Clippers since 2016-17.
He is excited to get to work and has been receiving a lot of positive messages from his former LA stars, such as Blake Griffin, DeAndre Jordan, and more.
Speaking to the press the other day, Paul touched upon the love and support being sent his way.
“Man it’s dope. It’s really dope. I’m sure BG — well I hope BG get out to a game or something this year. DJ, we still talk all the time. Even tho JJ coach the Lakers I still talk to him all the time. A lot of guys. Matt Barnes, Jamal Crawford, all us are still well connected. So it’s really dope to still have that bond with them guys,” Paul said.

Paul, Griffin, Jordan, JJ Redick, Matt Barnes, Jamal Crawford, and others built a very strong team back in the 2010s.
The “Lob City” era of the Clippers was something to behold and reignited the team in many ways.
They never met all of their goals, but they sure had a lot of fun as they stormed through the Western Conference.
For many, that was the beginning of this current generation of Clippers basketball.
Paul was a pivotal part of that roster, and now he is coming back after nearly everyone else has retired.
He is also close to the end of his time in the NBA, and most people believe the Clippers will be the last team he plays for.
That is fitting, because Paul is a legend to the team.
If this is his last run in the league, you can bet that former Clippers icons like Griffin, Crawford, Jordan, and more will come celebrate him one more time.
