The Philadelphia Eagles are back in the Super Bowl after a disappointing season.
The team has been much better as a whole, and revamping their coaching staff certainly helped.
Nevertheless, making the most impactful signing of the offseason also helped.
Their decision to go after Saquon Barkley paid huge dividends, and they’re now just one win away from hoisting the Vince Lombardi trophy.
Notably, Chris Jones isn’t surprised to see them in this position.
Talking to Sportsradio 94WIP, the star defensive tackle admitted that he knew the rest of the league would be in trouble as soon as Barkley joined the Eagles.

Jones is one of the best defensive players in the league, and the Kansas City Chiefs defense fears no man.
However, they know they will be in for a massive challenge there – literally and figuratively.
The Eagles boast a jumbo offensive line that will give Jones and company a run for their money.
Steve Spagnuolo has made a case for being the first assistant coach to be inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame, and finding a way to slow their running game down on Sunday will most definitely cement his case.
The Chiefs have rallied behind their defense en route to the past couple of Super Bowls.
It will obviously be way easier said than done, but they have a date with history on Sunday.
