Not so long ago, Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones claimed that the team would go ‘all-in’ this offseason.
Two days of NFL free agency have passed, and the Cowboys have yet to make a big move.
Needless to say, the clock is ticking, and most of the top-notch free agents are already off the board.
On top of that, they’ve lost RB Tony Pollard to the Tennessee Titans.
Add losing defensive coordinator Dan Quinn to coach a divisional rival, and the picture gets even worse.
That’s why sports analyst Chris Broussard argues that, if anything, the Cowboys just got worse this offseason (Via First Things First).
“The Cowboys have gotten worse!” Broussard said.

He argues that they have no top-notch option at running back, they haven’t made any big moves, they lost a top assistant, and all their divisional foes have gotten better.
The Philadelphia Eagles just added one of the best running backs in the league in Saquon Barkley, and even though they won’t have Jason Kelce anchoring the offensive line, they still have one of the best OLs in the game.
They’ve also added a top-tier defensive coordinator like Vic Fangio.
The New York Giants and Washington Commanders aren’t ready to compete yet, but they did get better.
The fans will have an even tougher time buying in on those ‘all-in’ comments shared by Jones, especially considering the fact that Mike McCarthy will continue to call the shots for them.
