What will the 2023 New York Jets be without Aaron Rodgers?
Will there be a repeat of last season, where they missed the playoffs due to a six-game losing streak after going 7-4?
Or will they rise from the harrowing ordeal and emerge victorious?
At least for Week 1, they pulled off the latter after defeating the Buffalo Bills via a walk-off punt return by rookie wide receiver Xavier Gipson.
Having more of those outcomes might help them end their playoff drought.
However, Chris Broussard doesn’t see that happening after Rodgers suffered a season-ending Achilles injury.
Not only has he eliminated the Jets from playoff contention, but he also picked another AFC East squad to enter the playoffs.
"The Jets aren't making the playoffs without Aaron Rodgers."

Rodgers suffered his unfortunate fate four snaps into the Jets’ season opener.
Leonard Floyd had an easy path toward him to register a sack that ended Rodgers’ 2023 campaign.
Meanwhile, the Miami Dolphins, Broussard’s choice to make the playoffs, narrowly escaped with a come-from-behind victory over the Los Angeles Chargers.
Tua Tagovailoa had 466 yards and three touchdowns, while Tyreek Hill had 215 receiving yards and two touchdowns.
However, Nick Wright, Broussard’s “First Things First” co-host, hasn’t given up on the Jets, especially after how their defense played against the Bills.
New York has playmakers like Quinnen Williams, C.J. Mosley, D.J. Reed, Jordan Whitehead, and Sauce Gardner.
With a young but talented defensive unit in place, can the 2023 Jets duplicate what the 2000 Baltimore Ravens did?
