James Harden has been in the headlines for the entire offseason due to his trade request earlier in the summer.
Harden has been in a back-and-forth discussion with the Philadelphia 76ers to get traded to the Los Angeles Clippers.
While Harden has been granted a trade request by the organization, the actual trade talks have been at a stalemate.
Harden seems adamant about not wanting to play for the 76ers this season, as he even missed the team’s media day.
Harden has made his opinion extremely clear, but NBA analyst Chris Broussard has some advice for Harden via First Things First on Twitter.
“The best thing for him to do is stay in Philly, until they trade him, and play his butt off,” Broussard said.
"I get it, James Harden has lost a lot of money. … The best thing for him to do is stay in Philly, until they trade him, and play his butt off. The 76ers are more in the hunt than the Clippers."

Broussard outlined the fact that Harden may have already lost a lot of money, but the best thing for him to do is stay with the 76ers.
He also thinks Harden should play at a high level as he believes that the 76ers are more of a title contender than his preferred destination.
The Clippers may have a better roster on paper, but their dynamic duo of Kawhi Leonard and Paul George have proven to be extremely vulnerable to injuries over the last few years.
Last season, the Clippers were eliminated in the First Round of the playoffs while the 76ers made it until the Eastern Conference Semifinals.
So, should Harden listen to Broussard’s advice and stay with the 76ers?
He could, but considering his recent actions, there’s a very slim chance of it.
