The Los Angeles Chargers have one of the most talented running backs in the NFL.
His name is Austin Ekeler and he has just been announced as the winner of a fun award.
The NFL has been making a conscious effort in recent years to reach its younger fans.
One way they have done that is by putting certain NFL games on Nickelodeon.
In a fun broadcast, the NFL uses different Nickelodeon characters and graphics to capture the interest of younger fans.
Well, they also have an award that goes out to one deserving player.
That is the NVP (Nickelodeon Valuable Player) and the fans get the opportunity to vote on who wins it based on the game.
But, this year they have an NVP of NVP award, which has been awarded to Ekeler.

There is no question Ekeler is deserving of this recognition.
He was arguably one of the most dynamic playmakers in the NFL this past season.
Ekeler rushed 204 times for 915 yards and 13 rushing touchdowns.
But, he was also elite in the passing game, reeling in 107 receptions for 722 yards and five touchdowns.
Ekeler has become one of the unique running backs in the NFL.
He does far more in the passion game than running the ball, and he is a touchdown machine.
His 18 total touchdowns this year were the most in the NFL.
Ekeler won the NVP during Week 4 of the regular season, as you could see from him getting slimed in the video.
Even though this award does not come with any slime, it is still cool for Ekeler to resonate with the younger NFL fans.
