The Los Angeles Chargers finished the 2022 season with a 10-7 record.
While this earned them a playoff spot, they fell to the Jacksonville Jaguars in the Wild Card round.
As they look ahead to the 2023 season, the Chargers have high hopes for what’s to come.
In a recent conversation with Kay Adams in a segment of ‘Up and Adams,’ Brandon Staley spoke highly about Justin Herbert’s abilities.
“You’re just seeing Justin come alive,” Staley said.
"You're just seeing Justin [Herbert] come alive…You can see the confidence. The way he's affecting his teammates on both sides of the ball, I've just never seen him better."

Herbert has been identified as one of the NFL’s brightest young quarterbacks.
The Chargers confirmed this by signing him to a five-year, $262 million contract.
They believe in his ability to be the franchise leader for the foreseeable future and have now put their money where their mouth is.
The organization also added to the offense during the offseason, drafting Quinten Johnston in the first round of the 2023 NFL Draft.
Johnston was a highly-touted receiving prospect from TCU and is slated to see playing time in year one.
Herbert has plenty of talent around him.
Can he deliver a deep playoff run for an organization searching for postseason success?
The AFC West is viewed as one of the NFL’s toughest divisions.
Getting through Patrick Mahomes and the Kansas City Chiefs is a tall task, and the Denver Broncos shouldn’t be a pushover this season.
Is Herbert ready for this difficult challenge in his fourth NFL season?
