The Los Angeles Lakers had a strong start to the season but things have gotten rocky lately.
The team is now 4-3 and suffered a surprising loss to the Detroit Pistons earlier this week.
Speaking on “Run It Back”, via ClutchPoints, Chandler Parsons talked about who deserves the blame when the Lakers fail.
“When (the Lakers) lose it’s not gonna be the 40-year-old man’s fault… It’s on Anthony Davis, not LeBron James,” Parsons said.

He noted that Davis has supposedly been the main star of the team for the last several seasons.
Of course, LeBron James might technically be the biggest name on the roster, but Davis is supposed to be LA’s most important player.
For years, fans have been told that James is handing over the reins to Davis and officially passing the torch to him.
Because of that, Davis is responsible when the Lakers fall short, according to Parsons.
Additionally, Davis is scoring a lot and is currently averaging 32.6 points and 11.6 rebounds per game.
Head coach JJ Redick said that Davis will be an even more pivotal part of the team moving forward, which brings extra responsibilities but also extra blame when things don’t go well.
The question is what else can Davis do at this point?
He is putting up MVP-worthy numbers and playing for more than 36 minutes per game.
It’s hard to imagine the nine-time All-Star doing better than that.
Being a team’s most valuable player means facing criticism along with praise.
Davis knows that all too well.
Hopefully, the Lakers can have a great season and Davis won’t have to experience a lot of critiques and negative reviews.
