The Miami Dolphins are fresh off a loss to the New England Patriots, a game that went down to the wire, but ultimately brought the Dolphins’ record to 0-2.
After losing again, there have been many questions asked about the future of this team, particularly, what the outlook for head coach Mike McDaniel will be moving forward.
There are also questions about the state of the roster, with some wondering if players like Tyreek Hill will be traded as part of a major overhaul for the franchise.
Moves like these remain to be seen, but some of these concerns could be addressed if the Dolphins start winning games.
Their next opponent is the Buffalo Bills on Thursday Night Football, a game where the Bills are at least 12.5-point favorites at most Las Vegas sportsbooks.
Despite their 0-2 start and being significant underdogs in this matchup, some people still believe they can turn things around, including Chad Johnson.
Johnson talked about this at length during the “Nightcap Show” with Shannon Sharpe, sharing his belief that the Dolphins will start playing better.
“When I tell the Dolphins are winning Thursday night against the Bills you have to listen to me and understand, they are not starting the season 0-3,” Johnson said.

To Johnson, it doesn’t seem likely that the Dolphins will start 0-3, as he believes they have the right mentality to start turning things around.
Tua Tagavailoa will need to mitigate mistakes for that to happen, and their defense, which has allowed 33 points in back-to-back games, will need to pick up the pace and figure out a way to stop Josh Allen and the Bills’ ferocious rushing attack.
