The Boston Celtics easily dispatched the Orlando Magic in the opening round of the playoffs, but things are about to get more challenging for them.
They face the New York Knicks in Game 1 of the second round on Monday night, but the team gave their fans good news on Sunday night.
They reported that they have a clean injury report prior to Game 1, meaning all players will be suited up and ready to perform against Jalen Brunson and his squad.
This doesn’t guarantee success, but it does set the stage for a healthy and exciting game.
Injury Report for tomorrow vs. New York:
No injuries to report
— Boston Celtics (@celtics) May 4, 2025
The team has been battling a few injuries lately, particularly to Jayson Tatum, who has been working through a wrist problem.
For the first time in his career, Tatum missed a playoff game, and there were worries that his injury could get worse and he’d be forced to sit on the bench more.
Thankfully, the Celtics were able to get past the Magic in just five games.
That meant they had more time to rest and haven’t played since April 29.
All that time off has been good for the Celtics, although there are always concerns that they have been away from the court for too long and might have to shake off some rust.
But there is no doubt they are eager to get back into the swing of things, especially against this Knicks team.
For months now, NBA fans have predicted this series, and it could be full of explosive fireworks and clashes remembered for a long time.
Game 1 is going to set the tone and tempo, and there is a chance it’ll be very intense from beginning to end.
There have been a few must-see games in the playoffs already, and this is definitely one of them.
