Cleveland Cavaliers rookie Craig Porter Jr. has played in 10 regular-season NBA games so far and has made an impact during that time.
He has recorded an average of 9 points, 2.2 rebounds, and 2.9 assists during those games and has created a 54.4% field goal percentage too.
The Cavaliers have a deeper roster than their last few seasons, partly because of Porter.
Evan Dammarell said that a positive future may be in store for the guard.
Cavaliers head coach J.B. Bickerstaff stated that Porter has earned an opportunity to be a permanent part of Cleveland’s rotation once the team is closer to being fully healthy.

This is a huge promotion for Porter and a major sign of Bickerstaff’s approval of the young player.
No one can blame Bickerstaff for being blown away by Porter, as he has had multiple breakout games.
He scored 16 points and 5 assists during the team’s recent blowout loss to the Miami Heat.
Just a few nights before, Porter racked up 21 points, 4 rebounds, and 4 assists in a crucial win against the Denver Nuggets.
Porter has been the definition of “potential” and he promises to show a lot more in the days and weeks ahead.
The Cavaliers have experienced their fair share of injuries so far this season and Porter doing well means that even when some stars are sitting out, Cleveland will still be able to compete.
There are plenty of great rookies in the league right now and Porter is showing that he’s one of them.
He has proven himself to fans and his coach and now Porter is going to keep showing what he’s capable of.
