It is rare to see players fight in Major League Baseball.
There can be some pushing and shoving on occasion when a player is hit by a pitch or there is a disagreement.
But it’s rare that we see players start throwing punches.
That is exactly what happened in the Cleveland Guardians and Chicago White Sox game on Saturday.
Guardians third baseman Jose Ramirez went under the legs of White Sox shortstop Tim Anderson while sliding into second base.
A brawl then ensued with Ramirez and Anderson turning into street fighters.
Both players threw punches which led to Anderson getting knocked to the ground.
Cavaliers star Donovan Mitchell was exhilarated to see this brawl ensue.

Mitchell is not used to seeing these types of fights in the NBA.
Both the NBA and MLB are similar in that we never see players throwing punches.
But it was clear that these two players had a serious disagreement at second base.
This incident came out of nowhere and these two players are not ones many would expect to see in a fight.
There is no question that both players will be suspended for their actions.
It is just a matter of how many games each of them will miss.
The Guardians are in a battle for a playoff spot, so missing Ramirez for any amount of time will be damaging.
This type of behavior is not what MLB wants to see.
But it was certainly exciting for the fans and took over social media.NEXT: Steven Matz Owns An Impressive Mark Since Returning To Rotation
