The Houston Texans have been one of the worst teams in the NFL over the past few seasons.
Because of that, they have an influx of young talent on their team.
Many of which are players that they have acquired in the draft.
In the 2023 draft, the Texans took quarterback C.J. Stroud second overall.
He is expected to be their quarterback of the future.
But like any young quarterback, they can benefit from learning from a veteran.
That is why the Texans agreed to bring back Case Keenum.
Keenum spent the first two years of his career as a member of the Texans.
He is thrilled to be back in Houston.
According to Aaron Wilson, Keenum said “It’s special” and he is “emotional” to be back in Houston.

Keenum last played with the Texans during the 2013 and 2014 seasons.
It is safe to say many things have changed with the franchise over the past ten years.
Keenum praised the McNair family for the improvements to the facilities and even the food.
Having a player like Keenum in the locker room will be great for the team.
He has plenty of experience and is a true professional.
Not many people expect much from the Texans next season, but they could surprise some people.
They have built a young roster and still play in a weak division in the AFC South.
Houston hopes Keenum does not have to see the field at all next season.
But he will be ready to go if he does.
