The Cincinnati Bengals have had a very disappointing 2024 season.
Despite having a healthy Joe Burrow under center, the team has managed to win just five games and finds themselves looking up at most of the AFC.
What is most disheartening for Bengals fans is that this was simply a wasted season considering how great Burrow has performed.
That has led to some worry from former Bengals QB Carson Palmer.
“I’m starting to see some frustration grow on Joe’s face and that’s concerning,” Palmer said on “The Herd.”

Burrow has played like an MVP this season, throwing 33 touchdown passes and just six interceptions, and he is on pace to easily eclipse 4,000 yards passing.
He and wide receiver Ja’Marr Chase have formed arguably the best tandem in the league over the past few seasons and have been especially dominant this season.
However, the Bengals’ defense is ranked 26th in total yards allowed and 29th in points allowed.
Scoring almost 28 points a game has not been good enough for Cincinnati this season, and that is where some of Burrow’s frustration has come into play.
Also, there is even more pressure on the offense to produce because the defense has not performed well.
The Bengals know that they have the quarterback and the talented skill players, so if they want to contend for a Super Bowl in the near future, they need to fix the defense.
