The Los Angeles Clippers were off to a terrible start to the 2023-24 NBA season, as they took some time before finding chemistry with the newfound superteam featuring Kawhi Leonard, Paul George, James Harden, and Russell Westbrook.
The Big 4 of the Clippers may have taken some time to adjust, but they have become one of the best teams in the Western Conference this season.
A key reason behind the Clippers’ success is the comeback of George.
George has struggled to play consistently over the last few seasons due to a plethora of injuries since joining the Clippers.
Speaking of George, NBA legend Carmelo Anthony recently heaped huge praise upon the Clippers star, via NBACentral on Twitter.
“That’s the mold. So these young guys, they want that mold,” Anthony said.

Anthony pointed out that George is a terrific player who can shoot and score at will.
On top of being a terrific player, Anthony also believes that George is the perfect mold for young players to model their games after.
Speaking of George, he has averaged 22.9 points, 5.5 rebounds, and 4.1 assists per game for the Clippers this season.
On top of that, he is also shooting 45.3% from the field and 40.4% from the three-point line.
Another key aspect of George’s game has been his sensational 93.3% from the free-throw line.
As a result, the Clippers are currently the fourth seed in the Western Conference with an 18-12 record this season.
