The Arizona Cardinals took a big swing in the 2025 NFL Draft, selecting cornerback Will Johnson in the second round.
That could either be one of the best picks in the draft or a move they will regret for years to come.
With that in mind, the national champion from Michigan made sure to issue a stern warning to the rest of the league, vowing to make every other team regret not selecting him.
“They gon have to pay for this sh*t, I promise you. Arizona finna get a dawg,” Johnson said, via Dov Kleiman.

From a talent and skill perspective, there’s no doubt that he can do so.
He was penciled in as a projected top-10 or even top-5 pick entering the 2024 season.
He helped the Wolverines with the national championship two years ago with a 15-0 record.
Unfortunately, he couldn’t keep the momentum going last season, as he had to battle injuries throughout the course of the year.
Though there were some concerns about his health and long-term outlook, it still was shocking to see him slide to the No. 47 overall pick.
Johnson shut down the best wideouts in the game when he was out there, and unlike most cornerbacks, he also can make an impact against the run.
Hopefully, he will be able to stay on the field for the Cardinals, and time will tell if he’ll make teams regret doubting him.
