After a 5-1 homestand in which they took two out of three from the Milwaukee Brewers and swept the Colorado Rockies, the St. Louis Cardinals are headed out west and will begin an eight-game road trip.
Their first stop: Arizona.
To celebrate going out west, the Cardinals all left Busch Stadium and headed to the St. Louis airport wearing cowboy hats.
The Cards donned those hats for their flight to Phoenix.
The flight eventually landed in Arizona late last night, and when the team got off the plane, everybody stood together for a team photo while they wore their cowboy hats.

Cards Looking Spiffy In Cowboy Hats
What better way to celebrate a bunch of wins and heading out west than to wear cowboy hats on your flight?
The question is who wore it best?
You’ve got to love the way Albert Pujols looks in a cowboy hat, especially after his game yesterday.
Adam Wainwright too wears a pretty mean cowboy hat.
But Miles Mikolas has the belt and the hat down cold.
If the Cardinals were to have a contest for who the team cowboy is, Mikolas would be a strong contender.
There are many ways to have fun with your teammates.
Wearing cowboy hats on your flight out west and then getting a picture once you land is just one of them.
This a great team bonding activity for the Cardinals.
Everybody looked great in their cowboy hats and the Cardinals look ready to get going out west.
Cowboy hats are a good theme for whenever you head out that direction.
Now, we’ll see if that gives the Cards an edge over the Arizona Diamondbacks this weekend.
At the very least, they arrived in style.
