The Arizona Cardinals lost in Week 9, falling to a 1-8 record on the season.
This loss was the latest in what has been a disappointing year for the Cardinals.
Many expected them to take a slight step forward after their 2023 campaign, which has not been the case thus far.
Kyler Murray was supposed to be back on the field, something the fans have anticipated for weeks.
If Jonathan Gannon’s recent comments are any indication, Murray’s return timeline is still questionable.
According to Gannon via reporter Darren Urban, he said that he is “not thinking about that right now.”
Jonathan Gannon, asked if Kyler Murray will play next week against the Falcons.
"I'm not thinking about that right now."

He declined to answer whether Murray will play against the Atlanta Falcons in Week 10.
Gannon’s response could be one of two things.
He could be playing his cards incredibly close to his chest, not wanting to give his opponents a glimpse into his game plan.
Or, Gannon truly might not know what Murray’s status would be and did not want to answer one way or another.
Either way, this does not seem like good news for Cardinals fans.
The team gave Murray a massive contract, tying him to the team for the foreseeable future.
As the team’s supposed franchise quarterback, not being on the field is detrimental for all involved.
The Cardinals are not able to put the best possible product on the field, leaving fans something to be desired.
Their backup quarterbacks have not yielded the types of results the team expected, which has led to the Cardinals’ recent string of losses.
