Some MLB teams have been very active this offseason.
Others, not so much.
The St. Louis Cardinals fall into a category in between doing a lot and doing nothing at all.
They signed catcher Willson Contreras, which is an impactful move, as it vastly improves their offense.
However, that’s all they’ve been able to accomplish thus far.
As the baseball world comes down from the recent Carlos Correa ordeal, Cardinals fans are hoping for some more activity as spring training approaches.
On Twitter, one Cardinals fan made a funny joke about the Correa situation, stating that he himself has made more moves than the Cardinals have.

As time goes by and spring training draws closer, fans in St. Louis only grow more frustrated.
Since signing Contreras, the team has held firm.
There is still a clear need for another bat and a starting pitcher.
With Johnny Cueto officially signing with the Miami Marlins, St. Louis could look to swing a deal for right-hander Pablo Lopez.
A need-for-need swap with the Boston Red Sox is also possible.
Trevor Story recently had elbow surgery and will be out for an undisclosed period.
St. Louis could send former All-Star Paul DeJong to Boston in exchange for a pitcher
There are also still a few starting pitchers on the free agent market that have yet to be signed.
Plenty of solid left-handed bats remain as well.
But until something is done, fans will continue to be frustrated and anxiously await another seemingly elusive move.
