To most baseball fans, Adam Wainwright is known as a St. Louis Cardinals legend and two-time World Series champion, who also owns a pair of 20-win seasons and has three All-Star nods to his name.
However, Cardinals fans have become aware that something else is brewing in his life, and that when he retires, he’ll have a second career lined up.
During the past offseason, Wainwright took up country music as a hobby and is in the process of becoming a country music star.
He even sang the National Anthem on Opening Day.
On Twitter, the Cardinals announced a special giveaway for the final day of the regular season involving Wainwright and his budding music career.
It's here and it's spectacular: The Adam Wainwright Guitar! 🎸

The giveaway includes a playable guitar with Wainwright’s name and number inscribed on it.
The tweet includes a cool video of Wainwright opening his gift and seeing his custom-made guitar for the first time.
The two-time World Series champion tries to play a chord, but decides to work on tuning the guitar later.
Wainwright comments on how special it is to have his own special guitar, but joked that there was “some ugly guy on the back.”
The back of the guitar features a picture of the veteran right-hander playing his guitar and singing at a live event.
The 41-year-old is even in the process of recording his first album, which likely will become available after the season is over.
This is certainly a special giveaway and it’s a perfect way for the Cardinals and their fans to celebrate the legendary career of Wainwright, who will be retiring at season’s end.
