The New Orleans Saints have missed the playoffs for two straight seasons, an anomaly for a team that’s used to success.
Many of their struggles have stemmed from the absence of Drew Brees, a near-lock to be an NFL Hall of Famer.
After adding Derek Carr as their quarterback, many believe that the Saints will be markedly improved this season.
Cameron Jordan has high hopes for this coming season, as he indicated in a recent SiriusXM NFL Radio appearance.
“I expect to take Derek Carr, DC4, back to Vegas where he just left and have a return run at the Super Bowl,” Jordan said.

The Super Bowl is being held in Las Vegas this year.
Jordan believes this team has what it takes to make a deep run in the postseason, bringing Carr back to his former home.
Do they have what it takes to do so?
The good news for the Saints is that their path to a division title has gotten significantly easier due to Tom Brady’s retirement.
While Carr will be a new face within the organization, the other three teams in their division are likely to start new quarterbacks.
Carr’s nine years of NFL experience are assuredly the most tenure in the division, giving him a leg up on the competition.
However, Carr has only started one playoff game, losing to the Cincinnati Bengals during their run to the Super Bowl.
Although Carr has regular-season experience, his inability to regularly bring the Raiders to the postseason could be an indication of things to come.
